About
The Freestanding Comms Cabinet (600x600, 20U) is a high-capacity network enclosure designed for professional IT, CCTV, and AV installations. With 20U of adjustable rack space, this cabinet is ideal for housing network switches, patch panels, DVRs/NVRs, servers, PDUs, and other 19” rack-mounted hardware commonly used in medium to large-scale systems.
Built with convenience in mind, the cabinet features a lockable tempered glass front door for secure visibility and a ventilated mesh rear door for enhanced airflow. Removable side panels allow for easy internal access during setup and maintenance. Cable knockouts—three on the bottom and one on the top—enable efficient routing of power and data cables.
To offer even more value, this cabinet includes essential extras at no additional cost: four castor wheels for mobility, four leveling feet for stability, and a 1U vented fixed shelf to get your setup started. All components are finished in sleek black steel, electrostatically coated for durability and impact resistance.
With external dimensions of 1050mm (H, including castors) x 600mm (W) x 600mm (D) and a total weight of approximately 30kg, this freestanding cabinet is best suited for floor installation in comms rooms, data centers, or commercial premises. Please note that it is not wall mountable, making it more suitable for setups requiring higher capacity and stability.
